Baghdad: The general voting process for the 2025 Iraqi parliamentary elections (sixth session) concluded at 6:00 PM today, Tuesday, with the electronic closure of all ballot boxes and voting machines in Baghdad and all Iraqi provinces. This marked the end of a day dedicated to determining the political future of the nation.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the general voting process commenced at 7:00 AM this morning, Tuesday. The electoral event saw a significant engagement with a total of 20,063,773 eligible voters across Iraq. To facilitate the voting process, 8,703 polling centers and 39,285 polling stations were established throughout the country.
