Baghdad: Head of the Supreme Security Committee for Elections, Lieutenant General Qais al-Muhammadawi, has announced the imminent lifting of the state of alert (Level C) by the armed forces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Muhammadawi praised the success achieved by the security forces, attributing it to the cooperation of various entities including the armed forces, the electoral commission, the ministries, and the Iraqi people. He expressed hope that the armed forces will be honored for their contribution to the success of this endeavor.
