Baghdad: Martyr Muhammad Alaa Air Base, in coordination with the Independent High Electoral Commission, received ballot boxes from voters arriving from several provinces, under the direct supervision of the Air Force Command.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Defense stated in a press release, “The transfer operation was part of national efforts aimed at ensuring the swift and accurate delivery of the ballot boxes to the capital, Baghdad. Air Force units demonstrated a high level of readiness in carrying out this national mission with utmost professionalism and integrity.”

The statement continued, “The receiving and transfer operations took place in the presence of the Commander of Martyr Muhammad Alaa Air Base, who praised the role of the pilots and technical personnel in successfully completing the task, emphasizing that the Air Force’s actions are an extension of its role in protecting the homeland and preserving its security and stability.”
