Baghdad: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday evening that a Su-30 fighter jet crashed during a training flight in Karelia, killing its crew. The incident involved the aircraft crashing in an uninhabited area while it was carrying out a scheduled training flight without ammunition.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense explained in a statement that the aircraft was on a routine mission when the accident occurred. The statement confirmed that there were no survivors from the crew members on board.
