Baghdad: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, met with the Director of the National Intelligence Service, Hamid al-Shatri, to discuss efforts aimed at enhancing cooperation between the judiciary and intelligence services to uphold the rule of law.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Supreme Judicial Council stated that the meeting focused on ways to reinforce the collaboration between the two entities. During the discussions, emphasis was placed on the importance of preserving the democratic progress achieved in Iraq, particularly following the recent parliamentary elections.
