Baghdad: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, held discussions with Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein regarding the need to expedite the formation of the legislative and executive authorities, following the parliamentary election results.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Supreme Judicial Council Media Office issued a press release stating that Judge Faiq Zaidan received Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein.

The press release highlighted that their meeting focused on the urgency of establishing the legislative and executive branches promptly, in line with the recent parliamentary election outcomes and constitutional guidelines.
