Baghdad: A clarification was issued by the Karkh Police Command on Wednesday concerning reports that had been circulating on social media about a drone crash near the Ministry of Communications building.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the police command stated in a press release that investigations conducted with the relevant authorities confirmed that the object in question was merely a children’s toy drone. The police emphasized that it does not pose any threat or cause for concern.

The Baghdad Police have urged citizens to verify information carefully and rely solely on official sources to avoid unnecessary panic and misinformation.
