Baghdad: Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, and a leader in the Azm Alliance, Mohammed Nasser al-Karbouli, emphasized the need to unify efforts and prioritize the supreme national interest to ensure the formation of a strong government.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Azm Alliance’s media office stated in a press release that Al-Karbouli met with the head of the State of Law Coalition as part of the ongoing national dialogues among political forces regarding the formation of the new government.

The statement added that during the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the political landscape and the challenges facing the country at this critical juncture. They stressed the need to unify efforts and prioritize the supreme national interest to ensure the formation of a strong government capable of implementing its program in service of the Iraqi people.

Al-Karbouli emphasized the commitment to working with all parties to form a cohesive government that responds to the aspirations of citizens and prioritizes addressing service and economic crises.
