Riyadh: The Global Manufacturing Summit 2025, the 21st General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), will kick off tomorrow, Sunday, in Riyadh. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is hosting the summit at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center from November 23 to 27.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the event brings together industry leaders and experts from 173 countries to shape the future of sustainable manufacturing under the theme “The Power of Investment and Partnerships to Accelerate Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.” The summit is expected to draw over 3,000 participants and feature 150 prominent speakers, including 20 ministers and 35 CEOs, with high-level representation from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and other Arab states. Also in attendance are UNIDO Director-General Gerd Mller, international ministers, and leaders from the private sector, such as Huawei and ACWA Power.

The summit focuses on three main themes: investment and
partnerships, empowering women in industry, and engaging the next generation. Discussions will also cover digital transformation, the green economy, and supporting emerging economies.
