Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji met today, Wednesday, with the Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq Movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali. The meeting focused on discussions regarding the next phase following the successful parliamentary elections.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting included an exchange of views and ideas about leveraging the election results to maintain the political stability that Iraq is currently experiencing. The discussions emphasized the importance of using these outcomes to benefit the Iraqi people and strengthen the democratic system that the electoral process supports.

Both sides highlighted the need to respect the will of the people and continue consolidating the results of the elections to serve the interests of Iraq.
