Shalamcheh: Security forces arrested a foreign national in possession of narcotics at the Shalamcheh border crossing.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the border forces stated in a press release that detachments from the Shalamcheh Customs Police Station apprehended a foreign national found with 1,170 Tramadol pills hidden inside the handle of his suitcase.

The statement added that the pills were identified by the K9 unit, and a formal seizure report was prepared. The suspect and the pills were then transferred to the Basra Anti-Narcotics Directorate.
