Baghdad: The National Political Council is holding a closed meeting in Baghdad this evening to address issues related to the entitlements of the Sunni component, including the nomination of candidates for the Speaker of the Parliament.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, parliamentary sources have indicated that the leadership of the Political Council plans to put forward six names for consideration for the position of Speaker of Parliament. However, the names of the candidates have not been disclosed.
