Al-Sadr Directs Postponement of the Unified Friday Prayer in Babylon for Followers’ Safety

Babylon: The leader of the Sadrist Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, announced the postponement of the unified Friday prayer that was scheduled to be held in Babylon Province, citing cold weather conditions and rainfall as the reason for the decision.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a brief statement, al-Sadr expressed his concerns for the well-being of his followers, stating: "My loved ones, I am concerned for you due to the cold weather and the rain. Your safety is important to me. Therefore, let us postpone the unified Friday prayer to another occasion, God willing.
