Baghdad: The head of Al-Azm Alliance, Muthanna Al-Samarrai, received today, Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein. During the meeting, they discussed developments in the political landscape following the elections, the upcoming constitutional entitlements, and ways to coordinate efforts to ensure a stable political transition that meets citizens’ aspirations and preserves the country’s stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by Al-Azm Alliance said the meeting also addressed the state of Iraq’s foreign relations and the importance of strengthening its regional and international presence through a balanced policy based on safeguarding the supreme national interests. The statement stressed the need to continue dialogue among political forces to expedite the completion of constitutional entitlements and the formation of a government capable of confronting the challenges of the next phase.
