Iran: Iran held a national celebration on Sunday evening to mark the successful launch of three domestically built satellites. The event, which took place at the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, was attended by Communications and Information Technology Minister Sattar Hashemi, along with several members of parliament.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the satellites-Zafar-2, Paya, and Kowsar 1.5-were successfully launched into orbit earlier that day. The launch occurred at 16:48 Tehran time, using a Soyuz-2.1b rocket from Russia’s Vostochny Cosmodrome. The successful deployment of these satellites marks a significant achievement for Iran’s space program.
