Baghdad: The head of al-Nasr Coalition, Haider al-Abadi, recently held discussions with Joe Cook, Vice President of the American company Chevron, along with his delegation, to explore potential cooperation in the oil and energy sectors.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on Chevron’s expertise and advanced technologies that could be instrumental in developing Iraq’s oil sector. This sector is a cornerstone of the national economy, and Chevron’s future plans in this field were reviewed during the discussions.

Al-Abadi highlighted Iraq’s dedication to attracting both oil and non-oil investments by providing a stable and encouraging environment for international companies. He underscored the importance of these investments in achieving shared goals and supporting sustainable development.
