Kirkuk: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) dismantled an improvised explosive device (IED) left behind by ISIS south of Kirkuk.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF stated in a press release: “The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams of the 16th Brigade, affiliated with the PMF’s Northern and East Tigris Operations Command, dismantled an IED left behind by the ISIS terrorist organization. The device had been planted near Wadi al-Khasa, south of Kirkuk Governorate.”
The statement added: “The operation was carried out according to established technical procedures, without any casualties or material damage.”
