Erdogan Discusses Regional And Int’l Issues With The Saudi Crown Prince, In Addition To Bilateral Relations


Istanbul: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Turkish Presidency’s Directorate of Communications stated in a press release today that Erdogan and bin Salman discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Saudi Arabia, and regional and international issues, during a telephone call.



During the call, Erdogan expressed his hope for further deepening cooperation between Turkey and Saudi Arabia through steps to be taken in the coming period.



Erdogan noted that Turkey is closely monitoring developments in Somalia and Yemen, emphasizing that protecting the territorial integrity of Somalia and Yemen is crucial for regional stability.



Erdogan also expressed Turkey’s readiness to contribute to efforts aimed at bringing together the parties in Yemen.



He stressed that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is worsening with the onset of winter, indicating that Turkey continues to work towards achieving a permanent ceasefire and the reconstruction of Gaza.
