Baghdad: President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi emphasized the importance of coordination and cooperation between the Presidency and Parliament to ensure the integration of roles among the constitutional authorities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a presidential statement revealed that President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid met with Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi in Baghdad, with Deputy Speaker Farhad al-Atroushi also present. During the meeting, the President congratulated al-Halbousi and his deputies on gaining the confidence of Parliament members and expressed his wishes for their success in fulfilling their constitutional duties. This success is seen as vital for strengthening the role of Parliament in supporting the democratic process and consolidating legislative and oversight work.
