Hilla: Five people were injured Monday evening in a land dispute in the Saddat al-Hindiya district, north of Hilla.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babylon Police Media Director, Brigadier General Adel al-Husseini, stated, “A dispute between relatives over a plot of land in the Saddat al-Hindiya district escalated into gunfire, resulting in injuries to five people before the police intervened and resolved the dispute.” He added that the injured were transferred to Hilla Surgical Hospital for treatment.
