Basra: A worker at the Basra Oil Projects Company died after an iron pole fell on him. A security source stated: “A 21-year-old day laborer from Babylon Governorate, employed by the Oil Projects Company located in Al-Haritha district, sustained a head injury at his workplace when an iron pole fell on him. He was transported to Al-Zubair General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the source added: “The scene of the accident and the body were examined by the forensic evidence team and transferred to the Forensic Medicine Department.”
