Baghdad: The Security Media Cell has reassured the public that there are no threats affecting the safety of citizens or public security, emphasizing that the security and service conditions across the country are stable and improving.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement came in response to rumors and misleading reports that have been circulating on various platforms and social media, particularly in light of recent regional developments and events in Syria. Major General Saad Maan Al-Moussawi, head of the Cell, stated that relevant authorities are handling these claims with professionalism and precision.

Al-Moussawi reiterated that security forces are performing their duties efficiently and reassured that there is no threat to the public. He attributed the current stability to the sacrifices and efforts of the security forces and state institutions.

He advised citizens to avoid engaging with rumors and unverified information, encouraging them to rely on official sources and report any pages or accounts that spread false or inciting content.

Furthermore, Al-Moussawi highlighted the importance of public awareness and responsible cooperation with security institutions as crucial defenses against rumors and psychological warfare. He confirmed that the Security Media Cell will continue delivering accurate and reliable information to the public through its official channels.
