Baghdad: Deputy Speaker of Parliament Farhad al-Atroushi met with Salim al-Jubouri, the head of the Civil Reform Gathering Party and former Speaker of Parliament, to discuss several issues concerning laws and legislation aimed at serving the country’s best interests.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Deputy Speaker’s media office detailed that the meeting began with al-Jubouri congratulating al-Atroushi on his recent election as Deputy Speaker of Parliament. Al-Jubouri expressed his hope that al-Atroushi would succeed in fulfilling his constitutional and national duties.

The statement further noted that the meeting covered a range of issues related to laws and legislation, emphasizing their significance in serving the nation’s best interests.
