The Coordination Framework Reveals Details of Discussions in Kurdistan Region


Erbil: The Coordination Framework has unveiled the details of its delegation’s discussions held in the Kurdistan Region, as reported yesterday. The talks focused on constitutional obligations, particularly the procedure for electing the President of the Republic, in a manner that respects constitutional deadlines.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Framework’s statement highlighted meetings with leaders from the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. These discussions also covered current regional developments, the situation in Syria, and the necessity of unifying the Iraqi national political approach to these issues to bolster Iraq’s position and its overarching national interests.



The high-level delegation comprised Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, Hadi al-Amiri, Mohsen al-Mandalawi, and Abbas Radhi, who visited the cities of Erbil and Sulaimaniyah in the Kurdistan Region on Monday.
