Diyala: A joint security force discovered an explosives cache during a security operation in the eastern Al-Adhaim district of Diyala Governorate. A security source revealed that the operation took place in the northern region of Baquba, where they found a cache containing explosives believed to have been left behind by ISIS terrorist gangs.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the cache comprised six anti-tank rockets, ten 57mm rockets, and twenty-four anti-personnel rockets. Additionally, two bags of gunpowder were also found. The military engineering units handled, removed, and safely detonated the materials following protocol, ensuring no damage resulted from the operation.
