Anbar: The Popular Mobilization Commission announced the capture of a dangerous terrorist responsible for financing terrorist organizations in Anbar province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrest was made by a force from the 3rd Regiment/57th Brigade of the PMF, in collaboration with the National Security Service. The captured individual was involved in providing terrorist organizations with vehicles and logistical support within their operational area in Anbar province.

The Commission emphasized that this successful operation is part of their ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist cells, sever their funding sources, and enhance security and stability in the regions under their jurisdiction. They reiterated their commitment to carrying out preemptive operations aimed at striking terrorist hideouts and pursuing individuals who threaten the nation’s security and its citizens.
