Baghdad: The US dollar exchange rate rose slightly on Wednesday evening as the local stock exchange in Baghdad closed. The dollar was trading at 152,250 Iraqi dinars per 100 dollars in Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad, compared to 151,750 dinars per 100 dollars earlier in the day.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the selling price of the dollar at currency exchange shops in Baghdad’s local markets remained stable at 152,750 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price was 151,750 dinars per 100 dollars. In Erbil, the dollar also rose, with the selling price reaching 152,350 dinars per 100 dollars and the buying price 152,300 dinars per 100 dollars.
