Diyala: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Operations Command in Diyala announced the launch of a large-scale search and raid operation in the forests of Abu Karma and al-Mukhaisa on the southern bank of the Diyala River.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation was carried out jointly by the army, the PMF, and the Federal Police. The intent of this coordinated effort is to prevent any presence of ISIS hideouts or safe havens in the area.

The operation was conducted along two main axes and was under the direct field supervision of the Diyala Operations Sector Commander. The strategic collaboration of various forces highlights the commitment to maintaining security and stability in the region.
