Erbil: Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani engaged in discussions with Joshua Harris, Charg© d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Iraq, regarding the ongoing dialogues concerning the formation of new cabinets in both the federal government and the Kurdistan Region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Barzani hosted Harris to explore ways to enhance bilateral relations, review the overall situation in Iraq, and discuss the dialogues surrounding the formation of the new cabinets. The discussions underscored the need for establishing a robust government in Iraq that respects the constitution and federal system while safeguarding the constitutional rights and legal status of the Kurdistan Region. The aim is to serve all Iraqi citizens without discrimination.

Both parties also highlighted the significance of forming a strong and inclusive cabinet for the Kurdistan Regional Government.
