Iran And The IAEA Discuss Developments In Nuclear Negotiations Between Tehran And Washington

Geneva: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi discussed the progress of negotiations between the United States and Iran in Geneva, Switzerland, with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Mariano Grossi. A statement released by the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Telegram indicated that Araqchi and Grossi held a telephone conversation, emphasizing the importance of keeping channels of dialogue open.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, both sides stressed the need to adopt “constructive approaches” to advance the negotiations and reach a lasting agreement. On Tuesday, Geneva hosted the second round of negotiations between Tehran and Washington regarding the Iranian nuclear program, following a previous round held in Muscat, Oman, on February 6.

US President Donald Trump stated during his participation in the Board of Peace meeting in Washington that the course of developments related to Iran would become clear within ten days.
