Erbil: The Kurdistan Regional Government has declared that it has never posed a threat or danger to the security of any neighboring country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Interior in the Kurdistan Region issued a statement following the publication of a threatening declaration by certain parties against a neighboring country. The Ministry emphasized that the Kurdistan Region has consistently been a pillar of stability and security in the area. The statement reiterated that the region has never been, and will not be, a source of threat or danger to its neighbors’ security. Furthermore, the government has vowed not to allow any party to utilize the Kurdistan Region as a base for actions against neighboring countries.
