The Minister of Education and Australian Ambassador Explore Educational Collaboration


Baghdad: Acting Minister of Education, Ahmed Jassim Al-Asadi, met with the Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Glenn Miles, along with the Australian Charg© d’Affaires in Baghdad, John Kavanagh, to discuss strengthening educational cooperation and expanding joint collaboration between the two countries.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Minister Al-Asadi underscored the significance of enhancing the exchange of expertise and introducing high-quality programs aimed at modernizing the educational environment, developing curricula, and building capacities in accordance with international standards. These efforts are directed towards improving education quality and increasing the efficiency of Iraq’s educational institutions.



Al-Asadi further stressed the importance of adopting leading international practices and utilizing global expertise to advance the skills of teachers and students, laying the groundwork for sustainable education. In response, Ambassador Miles reiterated Australia’s dedication to supporting joint educational initiatives and expanding training and development programs that benefit both nations’ educational interests.
