Baghdad: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, met with the US Special Envoy, Tom Barak, to discuss the judiciary’s involvement in addressing the remaining constitutional requirements in the upcoming phase.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the conversation between Zaidan and Barak focused on how the judiciary can play a role in facilitating the completion of these constitutional requirements. Both parties explored the necessary steps and considerations needed to ensure that the judiciary effectively contributes to this process.
