Beijing: The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Monday called for an immediate cessation of military operations by all parties involved in the Iranian-American-Israeli conflict, emphasizing the need to prevent further escalation in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning expressed China’s deep concern over the ongoing hostilities during a press conference. Mao Ning highlighted that the recent American and Israeli military actions against Iran are violations of international law, and stressed the potential adverse impact on neighboring countries.

Mao Ning further emphasized that China advocates for the full respect of the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of the Gulf States. The spokesperson reiterated China’s support for efforts to enhance communication among the involved states to foster stability and peace in the region.
