PM And Crown Prince Of Kuwait Stress The Need To Prevent The Region From Sliding Towards Anything Threatens Its Interests


Baghdad: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani held a phone call with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, to discuss the latest security developments in the region and the serious repercussions resulting from the ongoing military operations.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, both sides underscored the importance of strengthening joint Arab coordination, de-escalating tensions, and resorting to dialogue as the most effective means of resolving disputes. They also stressed the need to halt practices that could further destabilize the region.



The two leaders emphasized the responsibility of the international community to intensify efforts aimed at preventing further escalation that could threaten the interests of states and their peoples. They affirmed that preserving regional and international stability requires curbing escalation and reopening channels of dialogue.
