Coordination Framework Pledges Support for Government and Security Forces Amid Sovereignty Efforts


Baghdad: The Coordination Framework affirmed its support for the government and security forces, in all their branches and formations, as they carry out their constitutional, national, and legal duties in preserving sovereignty, enforcing the law, protecting public and private property, and providing protection for diplomatic missions and embassies.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Framework’s media office stated in a press release that the Coordination Framework held its 264th regular meeting at the Government Palace in Baghdad to follow up on the latest developments at the national, regional, and international levels.



The statement noted that the Framework discussed constitutional entitlements and underscored the agreement of all its members on the importance of expediting their completion, particularly the formation of a government that preserves the national interest and achieves national consensus, which is considered essential for building the nation and maintaining its unity.



The Coordination Framework commended the widespread public condemnation of the assassination of the martyred Imam Khamenei and called for expressions of grief over the passing of the revered religious leader. It emphasized solidarity with the Iranian people in a manner that respects the law and freedom of expression.



It reiterated its support for the government and the security forces as they continue their duties in ensuring stability and security. The Framework urged an immediate cessation of aggression against the Islamic Republic and called on international bodies and UN institutions to support stability and security in the region, sparing its peoples further suffering and conflict.
