Amman: The Jordanian army has officially denied allegations that Iraq was attacked using aircraft and drones launched from Jordanian soil. In a statement from the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces, a military source refuted the claims as false and baseless.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement emphasized Jordan’s firm stance of not allowing its territory to be used as a battleground. It highlighted that Jordan will not permit any party to pose a threat to its citizens, territorial integrity, or airspace. Additionally, the statement assured that the armed forces are prepared to take all necessary measures to maintain national security and stability, and will respond decisively to any threats.
