Erbil: Erbil managed to defeat Al-Karma on their home ground with a 3-2 victory in yesterday's match, held at Al-Ramadi Stadium as part of the 21st round of the Iraqi Stars League. Al-Karma initially took the lead through international player Ayman Hussein in the 15th minute, but Erbil equalized with a goal from Uzbek professional player Temirov in the 35th minute. Erbil then extended their lead with a goal from Christopher John in the 51st minute.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ayman Hussein leveled the score again for Al-Karma from a penalty kick in the 69th minute. However, Erbil regained the lead through Ali Shakhwan in the 83rd minute, securing a victory for Erbil. With this win, Erbil raised their points tally to 40, securing fourth place in the league standings, while Al-Karma remained at 38 points in fifth place.
