The match witnessed an early lead by Al-Zawraa, with Akam Hashim scoring in the 13th minute. However, Nawroz managed to level the score in the 30th minute through Neto Akara.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the intense match continued until Al-Zawraa's professional player, Brian Riaskos, secured a late winner in the 88th minute, sealing the victory for his team. This triumph has propelled Al-Zawraa to 35 points, positioning them in eighth place in the league standings. Meanwhile, Nawroz remains in 13th place with 25 points.
