Maysan Governor Discusses Security Measures with Security Leaders

Maysan: The governor of Maysan, Habib Thahir al-Fartousi, has engaged in discussions with security leaders to address the security situation in the province, affirming the province's readiness to handle any emergencies to maintain security and stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Fartousi conducted a meeting with Lieutenant General Jaafar al-Batat, Head of the National Center for Crisis and Disaster Management and representative of the Minister of Interior. He was accompanied by Lieutenant General Jalil al-Sharifi, the Commander of Maysan Operations, and Major General Numan al-Maliki, the Maysan Police Chief.

The discussions centered on reviewing the security measures in place to secure the province and control the security situation. The meeting highlighted the importance of tightening border controls with the Islamic Republic of Iran and formulating an emergency plan to tackle potential challenges.

The collaborative meeting further emphasized the need for cooperation and joint coordination among various security agencies to ensure the safety and stability of the province.
