Israeli Army: Two Soldiers Killed in Southern Lebanon

Beirut: The Israeli army announced on Sunday that two of its soldiers were killed in southern Lebanon. These are the first reported fatalities among Israeli forces since the recent hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah resumed last week, during which Israel has intensified its airstrikes on Lebanon.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Israeli army has not provided additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the two soldiers. The ongoing clashes on the border between Israel and Lebanon have contributed to the escalating tensions, which have been further fueled by the US-Israeli military campaign against Iran.

The situation remains tense as both sides continue to engage in hostilities, raising concerns about further escalation in the region.
