Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced on Sunday that Tehran is not prepared to discuss ending the war with the United States and Israel at this time. Araqchi stated in a press conference that "Israel and America have already violated the ceasefire that was reached to end the twelve-day war last year," adding, "And now you want to demand another ceasefire?" "Things don't work that way," he said.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Araqchi emphasized the need for a permanent end to the war, stating that "until we reach that point, I think we need to continue fighting for our people and our security." Regarding Iran's attacks on Gulf states, Araqchi denied intentional aggression towards neighbors, clarifying that the targets are American bases and interests located within neighboring territories.

Araqchi warned of Iran's preparedness to confront any foreign military presence, particularly if Washington deploys ground troops. He asserted, "we have fierce soldiers waiting for any enemy who enters our territory to fight, eliminate, and destroy them."

In response to US President Donald Trump's claim that Iran is nearing the capability to launch missiles towards the United States, Araqchi refuted these allegations as "disinformation." He explained that Iran has consciously limited its missile range to less than 2,000 kilometers to avoid being perceived as a global threat.

When questioned about Trump's desire to influence the selection of Iran's next Supreme Leader, Araqchi firmly stated that Iran 'will not allow anyone to interfere in its internal affairs.'
