Baghdad: Iraq is facing a pivotal moment, and Parliament is required to make a national decision to protect the country's interests. First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Adnan Faihan al-Dulaimi affirmed that "Iraq and the region stand at a historic and pivotal moment in light of the rapidly unfolding events in the region that threaten its security and stability." According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the expanded meeting held by the Parliament's leadership on Saturday evening with the heads of parliamentary blocs to discuss the repercussions of the American-Zionist aggression against the countries and peoples of the region, Faihan said, "The Parliament's position must be commensurate with the gravity of the situation and place the country's interest above all else."
