Al-muthanna: The Ministry of Education has initiated a project to construct a new school in the Al-Karama/Al-Khamis district of Al-Muthanna Governorate. The school will feature nine classrooms, aiming to address issues of overcrowding and enhance the educational infrastructure in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this initiative is part of the Reconstruction Fund for the Poorest Governorates. It follows direct instructions from Prime Minister Mohammed Shia'a Al-Sudani. The project has reached its early stages with the pouring of the first concrete foundations, setting the stage for the structural framework to be completed in line with high-quality technical specifications.

The project is managed by an accredited international company and overseen by Director General Riyadh Rahim Ta'ima. The new school is designed to accommodate approximately 270-360 students, with an average of 30-40 students per classroom. This development is expected to ease classroom overcrowding and provide a safe learning environment, ultimately contributing to the improvement of educational standards for children in the governorate.
