Baghdad: A new deputy has been officially sworn into the Council of Representatives. Ahmed Mohammed Hussein Al-Mubarraq took the constitutional oath during today's session to assume the seat previously held by Nouri al-Maliki.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mubarraq emerged as the winning candidate and has now stepped into his role in the legislative body. This transition marks a significant change in the composition of the Council, as Al-Mubarraq takes on the responsibilities and duties associated with his new position.
