Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has firmly declared its right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and the well-being of its citizens and residents.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry's statement underscores ongoing concerns about Iran's actions in the region, which are perceived as provocations against Arab nations under unfounded justifications.

The statement from the ministry emphatically denies allegations that Saudi territory is being utilized for launching or refueling fighter jets involved in regional conflicts. It further highlights that Iran's repeated assaults on civilian areas, airports, and oil facilities represent a significant threat to regional security and stability, constituting a clear breach of international law.

Moreover, the ministry criticized Iran for its unfulfilled claims of not attacking neighboring countries, stating that such declarations have not been reflected in their actions, as the attacks have persisted. The statement warns that these aggressive actions by Iran could escalate tensions further, potentially damaging current and future diplomatic relations. The ministry cautioned that Iran stands to be the most adversely affected in any broadening of the hostilities.
