Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed that the election of Mojtaba Khamenei as Supreme Leader embodies the will of the people to govern. Pezeshkian stated, "The election of Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei reflects the will of the people to govern."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Pezeshkian added, "The country's problems can be solved under the wise leadership of Mojtaba Khamenei by fostering an atmosphere of trust and popular participation." The Iranian Assembly of Experts had previously announced the appointment of Mr. Mojtaba Khamenei as Supreme Leader.
