Dubai: The "In Harmony" exhibition, part of the fourth edition of "Dubai Collection Nights," has opened at Al Safa Art and Design Library, showcasing an artistic dialogue between painting and sculpture. The exhibition includes artists from Dubai's collections across the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the exhibition's paintings feature a style that distills nature into its most basic forms, transforming mountains, plains, and sun into pure, chromatic expanses. The smooth, curved lines of the mountains create a soothing visual rhythm that invites contemplation and reflection.

The exhibition's curator highlighted that this event offers a unique artistic experience aimed at integrating visual art within the context of knowledge creation. The choice of Al Safa Art and Design Library as the venue was intentional, framing the exhibition as both a 'moment of reading' and a bibliographical catalog of abstract art, distinct from traditional exhibition settings.

The "In Harmony" exhibition emphasizes accessibility for the general public, challenging elitism by featuring both renowned international artists like Samia Halaby and Hassan Sharif, and lesser-known artists such as Mostafa Fathy. This approach ensures a rich and accessible visual experience for all visitors.

The exhibition is organized around three main conceptual tracks: Architecture of Imagination, which showcases works focused on abstract geometric construction; Materials as Record, a collection that explores the materiality in art and how materials document urban history; and Forms of Presence, which emphasizes interaction with local context and everyday materials.
