Manama: Bahrain announced on Monday that a drone attack targeted Sitra Island last night.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Bahrain News Agency quoted the Ministry of Health as saying that 32 people were injured as a result of the drone attack in Sitra.

In Qatar, the Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that its forces intercepted a missile attack targeting the country. The Saudi Ministry of Defense also announced on Monday that it had thwarted a drone attack targeting the Shaybah oil field in the east of the Kingdom, near the UAE border.

For its part, the UAE authorities announced early Monday morning that their air defenses were responding to a missile attack. In Kuwait, the Ministry of Defense announced late Sunday night that the country had been subjected to a new missile and drone attack, confirming that Kuwaiti air defenses were intercepting ballistic and cruise missiles and drones.
