Diwaniyah: Workers employed by the company responsible for the Ghammas sewage project in the west of Diwaniyah province staged a demonstration, blocking the main road to protest the non-payment of their salaries for the past five months.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the workers are demanding that the local government, relevant authorities, and the company expedite the disbursement of their wages. The protest highlights ongoing issues faced by employees involved in public infrastructure projects in the region.
